Thumbs up Got my new toy

My new Kodak Z700 showed up yesterday...for $160 shipped Im very happy with what I received

Z700
1gb SD card similar to this http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1083716072950
1 battery charger + 4 rechargeable batteries I have a similar energizer setup that was $19.99
2 Kodak batteries
1 Decent camera case

so all in all it was about a $70 camera+$50 card+$20 charger+shipping not a bad deal in the end...takes very good pics in comparison to my old one...Once the sun comes out I'll take some pics, but for the price this is one of the better deals I've come across.

Cool beans!

I've been running around snapping pictures with mine like crazy. New toys will do that to ya.

I'm so overdue for a new digital camera. So I will be following along as you guys post results from these different cameras. Someone needs to take some pictures of casting #'s on parts like engines and heads and if you can get some pictures of engine code stampings it will help me decide which camera may work for me best.

12.8mp for the low low price of $3300 ftw

honestly I would ask justin where he got his...he sounds like he got a very good deal as well & his is a good bit better than the one I purchased, although the price matched the quality

Heh.... www.Newegg.com

I found a few places where the camera was slightly cheaper, but I got a free 512mb high speed SD card with mine, and Newegg customer service is great.

Yea, the 16mb card comes with the camera from the manufacturer, but Newegg had a special running for an additional one too. I paid $372.99 for it.

Bought mine from dell on 8/27 with 30% discount it was 350.00 with the card, charger and 20 dollars for overnight shipping it was just under $500.00

Costco has it on sale now for $349.00 (Canon Powershot S3) but by the time you get the goodies you're in the 500 range again. Its alot cheaper then the Nikon SLR setups, Kim wants the D70 or D80 and with lens and other stuff thats over 1K.. nooooo way.

Look for dell cupons on the net and you can can get some real good deals.

With tax, shipping, and a 1GB high speed SD card (in addition to the 16 and 512 mb cards that came with it), my total was $426.xx

Garrett (garretwp here) just bought a Nikon D50 (I think) a few months ago, and he's spent over $2k on the camera and lenses for it I think.....
