Gauging Interest

I may be looking to sell off my baby in the near future in hopes of buying a truck of some sort, and i was wondering what you guys think i could get for it.

1996 V6 - White exterior, grey interior
49k original miles
3 inch magnaflow catback system
SLP CAI with K&N air filter
160 degree thermometer(not installed yet)

Car is in good condition, couple of minor dings on exterior and interior is clean minus a few spots here and there, but give its a 10 year old car so things like that happen. Just gimme a heads up on what you think i should expect, whether i should try and bring it to a dealer or w/e....any help would be greatly appreciated

Pics available through cardomain link in my sig

dealer more then likely will give you $400-1000 trade in on it depending on how much they are making on the car you are purchasing from them.

Open market you can expect $1000-3000 for your car $3000 being the high end because of the mileage, $1000 being the low end because not many people care about the mileage on an 11 year old v6 camaro.

Id say if u put it on your front lawn, put $3500 obo , with "49K original miles" displayed in huge writing. Im sure some mom or dad will buy it for their son/daughter that are attending school to give them a feel for having a nice sports car.

depending on options and condition of parts kelly blue book lists the trade in value as 3700 if well optioned and in prefect shape. they show the private party value in average consition with the most common options as being around $5000.
noah seems to be thinking along the right lines. if you decide to get rid of it find out what the dealer will give you for it as a trade and then put a sign on it for the common private party value. worst case scenario is that someone gives you what the dealer was gonna give ya, but you will know the car is going to a good home instead of some faceless dealership lot.
