How many were built?
Can anyone find out how many GTA's were built in 1991? Just bought one and I know it's #2, but I dont know out of how many! It's a 350 TPI if that helps? Don't know too much about 3rd gens. I'm a LS1 girl!

There were 2,915 GTAs built in 1991 out of 51,184 total Trans ams built so i guess you can say its relatively rare. Is it white or red?

You bought that red one on eBay didnt you? Just an FYI, its not #2 built... that big "02" he refrenced in the pic does NOT show build number. If that were the case, my 'vert would be the 3rd one.
GREAT looking car, good luck with it! Now youll know what it feels like to drive a REAL fbody (minus gods motor)!!!

But I found the guy he bought it from (2 owners ago) and he wrote the same thing. I haven't gotten it home yet. Picking it up tomorrow.

Some people believe everthing theyre told... when you go to pick up the car, tell the seller I have a bridge to sell him.
Oh and GREAT price on that, you stole it!

Thanks Rob! You've made me feel better about the price. I found it at $1000 and was like there's no way I am going to let someone get away with that! Although it sold for more, I think I got a good deal. Hope the car holds up to how he described it. Tomorrow I will take my hour and 40 min drive to bring it home! My first 3rd gen!

IMHO thats a great price for that car. Dont let the bad paint deter you, they ALL do it unless theyre garage queens. Its an L98 car, the body is straight, the interior is CLEAN (the cup holders are even there!!! I broke one of mine at 40,xxx miles), the mielage is fairly low, engine is clean and looks bone stock. Its even got the factory CD player, thats VERY RARE. If you take it out, dont get rid of it, thats something youll want to hold on to. No doubt that you easily got your moneys worth.
Dont be surprised its not going to be as fast as your LS1. Thats just how it goes... but, the interior is alot more spaceous and the car will handle better... its a car with feeling, I think your gonna love it!
Oh, and you can still call it a WS6 too.
