Confusing days
So today was my grandmas 78 birthday.. We were invited to my aunts house for a little get together, so my uncle could meet my cousins son. As I arrived I said hi to everyone, and my other cousin’s wife was sick, as was her son Toby, about ten minutes later his eyes rolled in back of his head, he started drooling uncontrollably, and lost responsiveness, my cousin was about to take him to the hospital, but my other cousin (was a firecheif) said no and called 911, they came and took him to the hospital, 2 hours later we get a call and theirs no change fever of 104 and he’s in line for a cat scan then he needs to get blood drawn..
Everyone says we don’t have a brain right now, and we share it between family members, and I guess its kind of true.. I’m starting to get to know my family a lot better, becoming less shy around them.. I learned my uncle mark was in 3 or 4 movies, was a mechanic for 20 years and has around $20-25,000 in tools at his house in Florida. I found out my cousin is about to start his own towing business , and my other cousin has a grand national , with a blown motor.. I keep on meeting more and more people, most are not related to me or any one else, yet they are called my family, I’m just realizing you can have lots of friends, and no family or lots of family and no friends, or you can have both, but when it comes down to it, family is all you will ever need in life.
