most of the time that will get dropped if you jsut sayyou had forgotten and it was your mistake and that you can show that you tok care of it right away.
what were you actually pulled over for? most townships will let you talk everything down to non-points offenses if you were doing anything too stupid when you got pulled over in the first place.

no inspection sucks, it was like 123, when i last got one, currently both my vehicles now are overdue by 6-8 months.
i just paid a failure to exhibit... no wallet at all on me, therefore no PBA cards lol.
most other stuff is usually in the $50 range.

did you keep the envelope that your new cards came in? i would think they would drop that one all together if you jsut show them that it was paid up and you jsut hadn't received the new cards in time.

I orginally got pulled over for no seatbelt at NIGHT. My interrior is DARK grey, and i'm wearing a black and grey jacket. I pointed that out to him, and he flipped out cursing at me...than it didn't help my insurance was expired ha.

And the envelope is one of those pre-paid ones with no post marks.

depending on how the local judge is, you may be able to eliminate all of the tickets by pointing out that there is no way he coudl have seen your seatbelt under teh conditions.
did he see you from oncoming or was he parked on the side of the road?
a lot of stuff can be thrown out of court because of visibility depending on the circumstances.

jsut watch out if you decide to go that route, cops can be unkind to those who dare to go over their heads.

you shoudl be able to get the insurance ticket dropped if you bring a card showing that you had insurance at the time you got the ticket. but if its because your insurance expired and the car wasnt insured, then youre ****ed.

i got a ticket cause i had an expired card, but the insurance was still good on the car...went to court with it and i had to pay like $30 i think.

It was in Westville.

And my car is insured, i just didn't have the one with the right experation date on it. The effective date on my new card was 2/3/07, and i got stopped on the 8th, so i'm def covered there. I hope its only going to be $30. And do i just bring all 3 tickets with me to court? I've never had to do this before.

is there a court date on the ticket? i dont know, cause i had to go to court for a 23 over speeding ticket at the same time. I just brought the insurance card showing it was insured when i got the ticket, the prosecutor looked at it and said ok thatll be dropped.

Yea the insurance one has a court date on it. As for the other 2 they don't. But if i have to go to court that day, i should fight the others anyway, because either way i have to pay the court costs right?

they should all be on the same day even if they don't have dates on them

wait.. did u get the ticket for "uninsured" or "failure to exhibit". if "uninsured" and you show him the current insurance card at court that'll get dropped. I read it as if you got failure to exhibit, with that, you basically ahve no choice but to pay sicne it means you didnt have it on you at that time.

He wrote uninsured on the ticket, so that means i show my current card and theres no fine? As for the others i passed inspection with the crack on the windshield, so shouldn't that be dropped too, or is it based on judgement?

if you can prove that the crack was there when you went through your state inspection then the ticket is invalid. you can also look up the DMV specifics on where/how large cracks are allowed to beand bring in the measurements as evidence.

the uninsured thing, as long as you have proof that your insurance was paid and active they will normally drop that. if not, you shoudl be able to turn around and hand that fine to your insurance company since they are the ones who dragged their feet in getting the cards to you.

if payment was timely and the policy never lapsed, they woudl be on the hook for any resulting fines. insurance comapnies are big wimps for the most part, jsut threaten to sue and they wil do whatever you want 9 times out of 10

if you plan on fighting the tickets u have to call the number on the back of the ticket and plead not guilty, then they change the court date, usually 30 days from the original date. you don't just show up on the date on the ticket.
