Complex towing Iroc, need a hand ASAP.
Hey guys,
I live in an apartment complex. I have an 87 IRoc roller I paid $600 for. Now there's plenty of space in the complex, but the new owners are asshats. They changed it so I can't even do an oil change here...anyway. Long story short, it's a project car that I don't have all the funds to get running at the moment. I need a tow/trailer (either borrow the trailer itself so my friend can trailer, or someone who has the whole setup that I could pay) to move the IROC someplace safe until I can get it running. Their reason for towing is "Invalid inspection sticker". Unless I can get an inspection sticker from someone...I need this moved temporarily. Anyone in the area of Mapleshade/Moorestown that could trailer/lend me a trailer for a day would be of great help. They put the tow sticker on there yesterday and said I have until Monday (Monday is when they are towing it).
Need:
Inspection sticker OR Trailer OR Trailering to a location.
Will pay if needed
Please let me know if anyone has any ideas or are able to help. This is the 2nd (First was parts car that I didn't care about, this one is my Baby Project) car they're towing of mine and I really don't want to lose $1000 worth of cars to this place.

I thank any help you can offer. I'm calling around myself and having no real luck. It's such short notice as well =(
I want this car as my project...good body, nice interior. It's so stupid that they're towing it. I mean, I could understand if there were 10spots an 10 apt owners... but there are plenty of spots.

Well i think it's all a matter of inflating the rear tires, and an inspection sticker.
Would I get **** at the Inspection place if I went there with my car w/o a sticker? I was thinking already about taking mine off and tossing it on there, but need a way w/o destroying the sticker...and to make it look right cause I'm sure they'll look real hard at it.

Check your lease - I can't imagine an inspection sticker is required. I'd be curisou what it says about vehicles. Now, plates & insurance might be required.

Has plates and Insurance. On the brand new lease it outlines non-working cars aren't allowed, etc. Goes so far as to mention no car work can be done at all, etc, etc....but they have Manditory Renter's insurance requirement...which covers accidents and such on the property. Like I said, these owners are just ********.
Anyone gonna be able to tow me before Monday?

Does it 'work'? Where are you going to take it? Towing is as easy as a phone call.

No engine/trans. Bought the body to do LS1/T56 (or TH400) conversion.
I was going to take it to my Uncle's (bout 15mi away). Unless I can find someplace closer to keep it until I get an inspection stick to satisfy these people.

i would offer and have the means to tow, but for you to even cover my fuel costs it would be cheaper for you to call a flat bed.. i'm roughly 2 hours away from you each way + diesel = no good.. my vote is for flat bed.

that is your best bet cuz everybody that has a vehicle to tow you is so far away just get a flat bed or wrecker.
