Tell us a little more about your combination, including some details about the car that it will be going into.

Also, what do you plan on using the car for?

What RPM do you plan on spinning it to?

I'm assuming you are looking for a hydraulic cam....roller or flat-tappet?

easiest thing to do would be to looks into a comp cams extremem energy piece or one of the lunati voodoo cams. you can get away with a little less compression with them and save some strain on the bottom end with a modern fast ramp cam design as they are designed to build cy l pressure at higher rpms.
if you want to spin it to 6500 i woudl suggest either comp #12-250-3 or lunati #60104LK
both opperate to the 6400-6500 range and recomend only a slightly higher minimu stall than you were thinking about, 2800rpm. 300 rpm stall difference is barely noticable in your day to day driving and would be an easy change to live with.
