Need various LT1 info asap

1) what is the length/type of belt i need for my 96 LT1... no online distributer I know of online seems to sell belts for this car.

will this one fit?

2) what parts other then the water pump gasket and main seal will i need to swap out my opti, anything?

1- Try Autozone.com

2- All you really need is the water pump gaskets... But usually people replace the waterpump seal & opti seal while they are there because they are easily accessable when you have the opti off.

3- The only part you need is the flywheel, but once again, since you are going to have the trans out, some people would replace the rear main seal.

What Mark B said is correct.

4060642 is the correct belt for a 96-97. and Autozone should carry it.

When you remove the pulley, leave the crank hub on and rotate it until it is in a postion like a Y and you can get the Opti off.
