My Car Lifting Rod
ugh my car lifting rod just crapped out on me too. guess i gotta do it the old fashioned way and get my friend sven to lift it up.

Seriously though, if you need to buy a new jack make sure it has one of the new triple stage khenutsen valves along with the lighter weight fluid. Makes a world of difference. I popped one of the old valves lifting a 2500HD and the truck almost fell on me.

what kind of jack has said valves? alot of people think craftsman jacks are the end-all and i think it would be nice if you could shine some light on us.

Typically you find them in 2 ton floor jacks, but they are higher end ones. I know Griot's Garage sells them but you have to call them up to be sure.
