is it possible to get wheels narrowed?

see title. do any shops do this or is it not safe? i want to take a 15x7 wheel down to a 15x4 or 3.5

That's awesome, thanks for posting that link. I was about to post something about this as I need wheels widened for the Belvedere. That place looks perfect.

Matt, I hear it's a safe thing to do. A lot of the old skool guys take old steel wheels and widen the rears and narrow the fronts and race em hard with no problems that I've heard of.

No problem. I know a lot of people have used Weldcraft, that's why I have the link. I was considering getting the AMX's rear wheels taken out to 11 inches, and if I do I will have Weldcraft do the work.

I've read many positive things about Weldcraft on LS1Tech, over the winter I might have my rears widened half an inch!

You really need to look at the wheel as they sit on the car to figure out if they need to be widened outward, inward or both.
