Every computer controlled third gen needs custom tuning!
After about 10 years of driving my formula with the stock 305 chip in it I had gotten used to the quirks of the stock tuning controlling a modified 355. The car would idle high because of the increased air flow registering, it would run rich as hell, gas mileage sucked and it wouldnt pull as hard has I thought it should have. One other thing I kind of liked but wasnt good was the three foot flames it would throw when I mashed the gas.
Well with the help of my new expert tuning team, Kevin and Dan my car feels like a whole new beast! It idles smooth and at the right rpm, pulls to 5800, dosent knock, dosent smell rich, and unfortunately the flames are all but gone..
First I want to thank these guys for putting their work into getting the tuning process together.
Second I would suggest everyone gets their car tuned even if you only have small mods or are almost stock. The computer can be made to do all kinds of stuff like; running the fans cooler, making the speed limiter go away, adjusting for increased engine noise due to a aftermarket cam, making the shift light come on when you want it, adjusting for bigger injectors, and almost endless other possibilties.
If anyone else is interested in getting their car tuned right by the professionals at JS Performance we can set up a "tuning day in the near future and get all these cars running how they should be..

Yeah I'm serious. I'd like my truck to run good when its cold. It runs like crap on the stock fuel tables then it warms up and switches to run off the o2 and runs great.

If you are beating on your truck when it is cold the last thing you need to worry about is the tune. Warm up is a good thing..

In other words, we are still working the bugs out if the lt1 tuning and getting pricing together for everyting.
If anyone is interested, post or pm me and I will add you to the "waiting list" and once we get things all ironed out you will be notified..

Ok I'm a little lost. I see the posting about the LT1's, but someone above mentioned TBI's. Can an L03 be tuned?

I 85% of the time do. Its just in situations like when I'm running late to school/work. Or need to split fast its embarassing to stall the truck because I need to leave in a hurry.
