that's my town's dare truck.. sure it's a contest winner and they got all the money for drug busts etc but don't you think they could use the money to repave the streets in some of the worse spots?
what do i know, we just spent who knows how much to get turf on the football field

Ryan all the D.A.R.E. cars I've seen have been seized in a drug raid or the like, then 90% or more of the work/parts is donated or done by the cops themselves. That's why I think they're cool, it's like a community thing and the community never really pays for it. It's a different situation if you bought/modified the truck with town money in my opinion.

Willingboro apparently has a GN DARE car.
And this is the one that I was talking about...Barnegat NJ. Bad pic but you get the idea. On the cowl it says "Your worst nightmare"
More cool DARE cars of the U.S. A bunch of Caprices from NJ, and a carvan.

REALLY SWEET. I like the fact that they are rubbing the noses of drug dealers who bought and paid for that with money from the junkies that they sold their CRAP to! I believe that if you make drugs LEGAL, and give it out under CONTROLLED CONDITIONS, with the stipulation that they must enter a drug rehab program. This way you stop the junkie from robbing OR killing you to get the money they need to buy the drugs, from the DEALERS who don't give a SIT about what happens to them in the long run. Just my

Somewhere near Belmar is a truck like that. Its an H2 with 22's on it that says something like "This truck has been donated to the whatever town PD courtesy of a drug dealer" I saw it driving in the Saint Patrick's Day parade this year and almost fell over laughing
