Now that this season is over.....
What's everyone got planned for next year? I figured I'd live'n the place up with a new thread
Not much for the T/A just a new valve train(seals and springs) and hopefully it will hold together for over a year this time lol.
As for Evette.....I have a few things in mind ......Ported TB, headers/high flow cats/x-pipe/cat-back(possibly a bypassed Ti exhaust or magnaflow), and last but not least a nice set of CCW drag wheels by the end of the year.

With the new Yank SS3600, I got mid twelves in October, but was unable to get to the track in November to run with a new tune. So for '08, looking to do suspension.

hoping to get the motor plans finalized for the Belv and a lot of the parts in and get the bodywork started. If I can get the frame, suspension, steering, brakes, and bodywork done, and the motor started by the end of the year, I'll be happy.
For the truck, I'm looking to get the lift pushed up to 4", replace a bunch of stuff, new heads, cam, stereo, exhaust, gauges, CAI, and get the trans rebuilt.

Probably the non-corvette tax ebay versions for $400(my friend with an 03 A4 went 12.2 with them) unless I can pick up the overpriced LGs or ARs.

I dont think I am going to do anything to my car...i think theres still a little more room for another new best.....i might just need to work a little harder at it....then I will prob go with a set of long tubes......we'll see what happens...

Whats the point of having a sweet car if your gonna leave it stock
I think you could squeeze a 12.25 out of it if you hooked a tad better and shifted a little bit harder

From what I can tell, it's not a matter of more hook - it's a matter of leaving harder. Get those RPMs up on the launch!

this winter i have to upgrade the fuel system. so im going with an electric fuel pump, bigger lines, and regulator with return line. then once the motor is getting the fuel that it needs i will be playing around with nitrous. then its off to get a cage installed.

Will hopefully have the 350 swap done, already in the process of putting a posi in, ordered new LCA's and panhard bar, sway bars to come after x-mas, then in march a fresh paint job

theres a couple bolt ons left for me to do, i just have to decide if i want to grab a cage now and be a little slower than it needs, or spend the money on some mods and push the limits of not needing the cage

spend the money and get the gain

I hate to say it Brandon, but I think your "9 lives" is about to run out as far as running without a cage. Just be prepared if you get booted during your first track appearance in 08.

Well there's spending $1200-$1600 for AR headers w/X pipe and cats or spending $475 for a set with an X pipe. Sure going faster is nice, but I really don't want to spend $700 extra just for 10 hp. That could be TC money if I was going that route.
