			The return of the East Coast Nats for 2008 means the return of the traditional Camaro/Firebird vs. Mustang in addition to Island Dragway's normal Friday Night, Street Legal Drags. 
 
General Rules for All Classes: 
All competitive vehicles must be muffled 
All competitive vehicles must meet NHRA safety requirements for the ET and trap speed they run 
There are no minimum weights for any class 
There are no tire restrictions for any class 
There are no suspension restrictions for any class 
 
 
Bracket Racing Classes: 
 
Bracket 1: 
Foot brake style bracket racing, no electronic bracket racing aids allowed 
Open to all cars running 12.500 or slower ET's 
All cars must self dial 
 
Bracket 2: 
Foot brake style bracket racing, no electronic bracket racing aids allowed 
Open to all cars running 12.499 or quicker ET's 
All cars must self dial 
 
 
Heads Up Racing: 
All run category  
Any motor, transmission, suspension type, and power adder acceptable 
 
 
 
Camaro/Firebird vs Mustang Prizes and Awards: TBA. We are working with a variety of potential sponsors and resources to develop a great prize fund. We expect to have some cash to hand out along with those great trophies that you can show off to your friends
