Selective Insurance came in Clutch!

As some of you may remember my Camaro was backed into on December 1st outside my house by a little old lady going to church.

Well I went through the womans Insurance company (Selective) and filed a claim for damages to my front bumper the following week. Last week the adjuster came by to take a look at the car and write out an estimate, and I received a check today for $894.61 for a reproduction front bumper & labor to paint it.

Not bad if you ask me. I used to use Selective and they were probably the slowest and worst to get a hold of when it came to payments and such. Not only that but also I payed out the butt with them. Its a relief to finally get some of that money I've given them through the years come back to me.

What do you mean? The bumper has to be replaced no matter what it has a gaping hole right in the middle. This would cover it at a regular body shop and sounds close to what it cost when a deer sheared my bumper & passenger side 1/4 panel off last time.

It'll be finished nicely as soon as Teds dad builds there new garage!
