Negative, plasma's are pretty nice. What makes you say they are no good?

I have a 42" DLP and a 32" LCD at home, and my brother has a 42" plasma, and I would say he's got slightly better picture quality than my DLP, and way better than my LCD. All 3 TVs are rated middle of the pack as far as quality goes.

I think that would a pain to get upstairs. Or through tight corners like when you get a couch wedged in a doorway.

because i just got one, a 42" plasma. i brought it home hooked everything up and i'll admit the picture(what you could see) came in really nice but 4" in on the left side was a 2" stripe going from top to bottom. and on the right side was a stripe about 7" wide from top to bottom and i had to deal with all the holiday returns to go and replaced it with a samsung LCDHD. /rant

sure i might have gotten an lemon but that was enough for me.
