Snow what fun!
I gave it about 20 tries, but could not get the car up the driveway and into the garage! It's only about 1 to 1-1/2" of snow, but it's the packing snowball type of snow and it kept packing under the tires and I would slide back down the driveway. It got scary a couple of times when the car slid back down with it in park, foot on the brake, emergency brake on and it still slid down into the road! Traffic was coming a couple of times and we don't have a shoulder on our road. I did get to try out the ABS a couple of times as well! 275/40/17's in the snow =

sounds like when Noodles and I were trying to make it to paul's one night...
some toyota had the bright idea to start following us up the hill
as we were sliding back down we turned into a side street and called for directions around

why does snow mean speed up and then stop on a hill. i have traction control in my concorde so i usually dont have a problem as long as i take it easy but on the way home tonight there was a truck in front of me stopping on hills then would fry the tires off to get moving. nice slow and steady and we all could get home in a reasonable amount of time. i am not saying all are crazy when it snows but it just takes one and your stuck for an hour.

we had about 2 inches or a little more before it changed over to rain. The roads here got a little icy around 7:00, but now they are fine.

Body shop bill for repairing the beautiful Camaro that slid into the road, got hit by an idiot in a flying SUV that thought four wheel drive gave him invincibility and then coming to rest against the neighbor's oak tree: Thousands of dollars
Snow shovel: Ten to fifteen bucks
If at first you don't succeed, scrape the slop out of the driveway and try again .
