hp question..

ok so i got a 305. .030 over, 350 cam, high dome pistons, 14014416 305 HO heads that have been ported and polished, stock 350 cam, crane cams 1.6/1.5 roller rockers.

That is all i know about the motor. dont know any other specs, which sucks, but i was wondering if anyone has ever had/known a motor like this and have any clue on the hp rating of it? if i was to take a guess im assuming about 220hp?

thanks

I had a standard bore 9.5:1 305 with a Crane 2031 Compucam, World Products S/R Torquer 305 heads, and roller rockers. With the TPI on top and SLP runners, it made 223hp/277 ft.lbs at the wheels through a 5-speed.

Your guess of 220 hp seems pretty fair; maybe even a little conservative. Any idea what work was done to the heads, or what cam that 350 was in?

Yea, "stock 350 cam" doesn't mean anything....350s have come with tons of different cams over the years.

yeah i dont know on that one. the kids brother built it supposedly so i dont know what has been done to it. all he said was its a 350 cam... i was going to put a new cam in it but its too much money and its only a 305. money better spent on the 350. Thanks for the rough estimates so i think this will be just about the same as my old beat 350 that never ran right. Thanks guys
