Any one available to weld my exhaust?

Recently we replaced a faulty cat on my Hyundai Elantra, deleted the resonator, and put an exhaust pipe in its place. The pipe is held on by clamps and they leak. Wondering if anyone can do 2 quick welds in place of the clamps for cheap? I'm off this whole week other than classes at night. Otherwise I'll call Midas/Meineke in the next day or so and get it done.

they make stainless rap around clamps not the U type we use all the time they are like 4 / 5 inches long and in what ever size 1 3/4 ?????? and completely seal the entire pipe, use two to do both ends - around 8 bucks each well thats what we pay for the 3 1/2 inch ones we use on headers w/ open end and bullet mufflers for race cars, never had one come off - jz

Well, we wanted to do it so the dealer couldn't say the leaks are coming from the pipes, not the exhaust manifold (there is a crack in the manifold that will be covered under a recall once all the other leaks are taken care of).

I took it to Midas and they put muffler cement on the joint that was leaking - said they couldn't weld it because the pipe it would be welded to was rusted. The other spot that was leaking is where the flex pipe meets the manifold (leaking because the bolts are rusted and not holding on tight), and since the manifold will hopefully be replaced soon by the dealer, they should fix that problem. They wanted $100 to take out the bolts from the manifold, replace them, new gasket, and tighten that all up. I paid an entire $5 to the guy who put the muffler cement on and that's it. lol
