Tired of cell phones

Can we go back to the days when there was no such thing as damn cell phones and text messaging. I am sick and tired of them really. If it wasnt for my job it would be thrown out the damn window!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I here ya man. You cant go anywhere where you dont see someone on there cell phone or texting or all those people walking around with those stupid blue tooth things on. Everyone is so wraped up in these things, I wish all the cell phones would just stop working for one day and see how the world would react.

You have ignorant people on the phone at 4 am on a train like its the day time. WTF what can you be talking about at 4-5 am please!!!!! Drivers who cant drive to begin with on cell phones having accidents and running people over. I have friends of mine who are acting like a bunch of bitches sending hundreds of textes a day. We grew up together since Kindergarden and I love them guys but damn its getting rediculous. Insecure women who have to call you all day long, and a job who has to also keep tabs on you with there own phone. I am a friggen walking GPS. I have had quite enough!!!!!!!!!!!

You are 110% correct on this issue. My son will walk thru the house text messing his girl friend, and then they send about a dozen more before he can get back to his room. It's like having the girlfriend right next to him, but she's invisible. Had the same type of problem on my last job, where they send you out to do a job, and then call you every 10 minutes to see where your at.

Eh, I think they are really handy in a lot of cases. But I think it should be a hell of a lot more costly to make a call so people wouldn't blab on them all day.

The world would come to a screeching halt. It's amazing when I think back to just ten years ago when they (Or the internet) weren't that popular yet. Now, I get pissed when I leave the house without it. I use it throughout the day at work, not to mention that my Native American friend Wife calls me. I try not to use it when driving, though. Because I'm always the first one to go, "Look at that idiot driving and talking on the phone!"

Ive got 3 guys at work that have those sidekick type phones and their all day texting. I finally said put the phones away or go home. They all looked at me like I was nuts.Their there to work not text their butt buddies or their whiney gf's. I have a razr vxxx and ive only sent 3 text's from it and i think i use the thing like 3 times a day if that. Its just not necessary to keep the thing in your hand all damn day long.I cant text all day at work and hardly get anything done? NO.Your here to work, if you want to hang out and play lovie dovie clock the f out and get outta my face... Sorry its an ongoing issue im going to resolve once and for all tommorrow.

i worked for a contractor that made us sign an agreement saying that if you are caught on your personal phone during company hours at all, you are immediately terminated.

You go boy!! handle you biz. There is no damn reason for someone to be texting all damn day. I wish my friends bosses would do the same to them. by the end of the day my phone is locked and drained because of there nonsense textes.

hey for some of us 4am is day time

i hate cell phones id happily go back to a time where they didnt excist. i rarly use mine maybe 5 minutes a month. id prefer not to have one at all but my parents got one for me because i was the only one in the house that didnt have one. if i ever have kids they will probably be the only ones in kindegaren hell the only ones in highschool for that matter that dont have their own cell phone because honestly people that young dont need them.but unfortunatly parents these days dont understand that and you see 10 year olds with cell phones which is really screwed up if you ask me. so im all for smashing every single cell phone out there

Cellphones are the downfall of this once great nation! I will not own a cellphone. Cellphones have made people less productive, not more productive. Cellphones have made people dumbem, not smarter. Cellphones have cost more lives in accident than saved them! People have lost their ability to plan ahead thanks to cellphones. People have lost their common sense and common courtesy thanks to cellphones. And people don't know how to use their inside voice thanks to cellphones! I can't wait until somebody develops a signal blocker and restaurants and bars start banning them completely. I don't like cellphones.

I agree. Cellphones have a time and a place. But like many things they get abused. All this technology and convience just makes people dumber, instead of actually using ones brain.

funny you should post this today.
last night i left my cell in my friends car and it was very very weird being without my phone at school and work all day. it drove me nuts that i had to wait till 7pm to get my phone back of course but i survived. lets just say i woudlnt do it every day

actually, they already have signal blockers. their relatively cheap. the radius of effect isnt great but their still fun to play with.

on the one hand, I find it difficult to get through the day without my phone, on the other hand.. during busy days, I just want to throw the damn thing out the window. i hate when it rings every 3 minutes, differnet people or same people, doesnt matter, it drives me crazy.

im on my phone constantly throught the day, mostly with fam and the wife, but a lot of time its trying to stay out of jail (long story)
