The guy's name is Don Renfrow, and idk how crappy the build was but do you think stock belts would hold you in through that? hell no.
i can't manage to find the guy's story anywhere either so who knows what was in it

He fell out of the window 1st roll. Yes, I think a good belt would have. Plus the seat blowing out of the car too. Either it wasn't bolted down worth crap or was a $50 special 'race seat'.

wasnt the window, it was the sudden !ROOF mod, there was definatly somthing wrong with the fab work on that car though for the body to explode like that

Even as he came back to his original lane it doesn't look like he was even trying to counter steer to keep the car from rolling. Broken steering wheel?

Can not even believe that car was even allowed on the track. He obviously loss control probably due to not even having his driver seat bolted in. See how that thing was launched on the second spin. Had there been someone else on the track he would have taken him out too. The guy should be banned.
