Cool find Jake! They should have put a center console in those cars; I got mine to fit easily with the 5-speed.

That thing is pretty sweet. I could see driving that thing as a daily driver.

I was in the Air Force in Virginia with a guy who had a Cutty with a stick just like that. He used to go home to North Kackalacky on the weekends and come back with some "White Lightnin'" for us. He had a cam and headers on his 'lil 260, and it ran pretty good.

 Fuel-injected, 5-speed G-bodies are lots of fun. Here's mine!

They only seem like tanks. The early G-body (technically A-bodies from '78-'80) were lighter than the later cars, and my '88 SS was 3640 on the scale at Englishtown with me in it and ~1/2 tank of gas. That's pretty close to what a full-weight 4th-gen F-body weighs. I bet that Cutlass in the Ebay ad is right around ~3500 with a driver and fuel in the tank.

according to the build sheet i see the olds was shipped to king olds in croton on hudson about 10 miles from where i grew up( mid westchester county on the huson river, NY). i purchased my 86 442 there new. king olds is gone now and so is my 442 , oh well.the seller says that the car spent its whole life in San Diego, whats up with that? i had a 77 olds cutlass supreme brougham and i remember seeing the 260 /5 speed option listed in the owners manual
