JET chips

what do you think about the JET power chips? Any noticeable difference or just a waste of money.

Personally, I don't know anyone that's really seen results from an off-the-shelf chip, so most likely, it's a waste of $$. For what it costs to buy a JET (or Hypertech, or any other off-the-shelf brand chip) you could buy the stuff to burn your own chips from www.moates.net and be able to change whatever you want, whenever you want.

all jet chips do is raise timing a few degrees, turn fans on sooner, and make add a touch of fuel to give you the impression the car is faster.

a real tune will look at your car, point out any flaws you have in its current state, and give you two options, either fix the car and tune it right or tune based on how it is now.

If you are confident in your tuning ability going the moates.net way is an option, but there are a lot of people who do more harm than good by choosing that option. There is knowing what to do, and there is thinking you know what to do.

Assuming you have a third gen, call JS Performance, get it tuned properly.
