Hard time starting?

My 98 z28 is having a hard time starting... I'll crank it for about 5 seconds, then it'll start, or crank then turn the key back, then will start right up...

Car is stock other then Lid, catback, msd wires, and slp maf...

any ideas on what i can start with?

If you turn it to on (not start) can you hear the fuel pump prime?

Yeah... don't know about that... but you know how it runs otherwise.

If the car is running... say shut off then try to start it 5 minutes later, fires right up.

Sounds like the fuel pressure is bleeding off when the car sits, so it won't fire up until the rails get pressurized again.
