So...... my wife ROCKS!!!!!
So, not only did she prepay for me on the TTP dyno day (without asking me!!)but she one upped it!
Friday we went to JSPerformance to drop my T/A off to get long tube headers, y pipe, high flow cats, new cat back, sub frame connectors, plugs and LT4 knock module which as it is ROCKS.
So, I'm talking to Josh (who is very knowledgable and professional) about the car and he notices it has traction control.... this lead to me mentioning it has 2:73's
He mentions he has a rear with 3:42's for my car - he tells me the price.....and I tell Josh I'd have to check w/ my wife. Now, I'm not whipped. .... I just like to discuss things w/ the wifey before any big purchases are made.
On the way home..... she says, would it make you happy to have 3:42's?
Me--->
She says ok
HOTNESS!!!!! So, the T/A will get 3:42's too!

sometimes our ladies really know how to make us happy...aside from other activities. That's awesome! That's a good deal of mods at once so it will prob make a big difference once it gets back. Will it be in time for the dyno day?

We all already knew I was awesome and I rocked.
The only catch is he can't make fun of my big purchase (I got a new phone, a smartphone, which I don't necessarily need, but definately wanted).
And he willingly watches "What not to wear" with me

There is always too sides to the story but looks like a win/win for both sides. My only gripe is my wife likes to fall asleep to her golden girl DVD's......I hate all of those old ladies.

Wow. Golden girls? Damn. Ouch.

I basically sat in the car I drove down waiting for james. Didn't notice any other cars besides the mustang on the lift and a camaro waiting for parts.
Dunno how to talk her into it though. If it's your daily I can't help you, as I think it's kinda idiotic to spray your DD. But, if it's not your DD, go for it.
I think what helps me let james indulge in the car is he keeps me a part of it as much as I want to be. If I ask questions about things he'll answer to the best of his ability. I (occassionally) will help work on it when we have the tools (moving has taken it's toll on what we have in the house, most things are in storage)...I am the parts/tool getter, but I'm still a part of the process. I think that's what really helps me appreciate what he loves.
Now if only I could get him to appreciate the things I love...baseball, softball, and kids

All set to move next week? I told Karen you guys would probably end up moving before we did, and we've had the offer on our current house since November. lol

Car was brought home on June 25th, 2003. Was supposed to be running in 2 weeks or less....you know the rest.
Closing is set for this Wednesday, moving prolly not for a few more weeks. Tyler and I have some small things to address in the new house first. We have the apartment through the end of May, so no big rush.
