Most of the time a custom ground cam is only a few bucks more than off the shelf parts....

Before you order anything, give Comp a call and tell them your combo, and what cam you plan on running. See if they can suggest some tweaks to it to optimize your combo.

What are your expectation of the motor? 76cc heads on a stock bottom end = flat top pistons, isn't going to have much compression. I'll guess HP to be around 260-275 at best.

9.5 compression

How do you figure that a stock bottom end will only support that? Theres plenty of builds out there reaching upwards of 350 horsepower with vortec heads simply with upgraded springs...

I don't think that's what he's saying.

I think he means that if you are doing this on a stock bottom end (which has flat top pistons) your CR will be low due to the large combustion chamber size so you won't be making that much power with the speed parts.

Although the link for your heads says 67cc, I'm not sure if he saw that.

Sorry, yah, ment 67cc, but that still large if you're looking for allot of performance I'd like something more in the 54-58 cc range and push compression up into the 10s. Sure a stock bottom end will support 350+ HP, but I don't thing the heads/cam you're look at are going to make anywhere that much, which is why I asked why you were shooting for?

I'd like to put anywhere from 350-400 to the crank. Shooting for 9.5:1 compression.

Not that I'm doubting your experience or anything (cause I'm the first to admit I have very little) but theres alot of people telling me I'd hit 365-375 easily with that setup.
