About time for headers

Alright so i've been looking around for headers, mostly used, but i found a guy who i can get some uncoated pacesetters and y-pipe from for about $180.. good deal or not? since they're uncoated does anyone know how much jethot charges for a coating? or is there anybody local that does it?

I'm not sure if I missed it or not, but are the headers new or used? I think I got my uncoated pacesetters for that much with a y-pipe through summit.

Love those headers

You'll have to send an email to Jot-Hot for the exact cost, but my 3rd gen long tubes were quoted at about $275 for the pair. It might be cheaper for you to just buy headers directly from Jet Hot already coated.

that or get coated pacesetters off of ebay. i did. came with a coated y-pipe too. you can opt for emissions fittings or not. definitely get them coated. they cool down so fast, its unbelievable! the y-pipe needs to be "finessed" then welded to the cat though fyi.

yeah i really want the coated ones. but he wants 300 for the pacesetters uncoated and the y-pipe, seems like a little much to me and yes they are used so i think that may be a tad bit too much for them

There's Jet-Hot's pre-coated header catalog for Firebirds. Call them or send them an email for pricing.
