Yeah, I will be. You will probably find me near a navy blue Shelby Daytona coupe, green '65 Vette convertible or a '69 Lemans Blue Vette. None of which are mine.

I was there for a short while tonight too between 5 PM-6:20 PM. I was the 98 Red Z28 with a black hood and black halo headlights parked behind the church. I am guessing no one saw me as usual. lol.
I saw you on mainstreet cruising lt14mla. I actually passed you by in my car on main street.

likewise. What kind of exhaust do you have? Sounded really loud.
Where do you usually park around? I don't get too many chances this summer to go to the show because ever since my friend got married, he is only available to hang on Friday evenings, so that means no show for me a lot of the time. I usually show up early to the show between 5-7 PM and usually park behind the Presbyterian Church.
Anyone else on here park behind the church in Somerville?

Black95maro, the deck is so far away from the mainstreet. Well, its not, but you know what I mean. Why do you park all the way over there? There are always like 5-8 spots behind the church to be had. You ever park on mainstreet sometime?
lt14mla, I'll try to be there too this weekend. I'll keep an eye out. A big reason as to why I never stop to ask anyone about their ride at the show is because I am never sure if the person standing in front of the car is the owner or not. lol. The few attempts I've made in the past, I always ask the wrong guy.
Do any of you know if there is every a Friday night devoted to F-bodies parked in front of the Somerville Courthouse? I ask because last Friday, it was Nissan 350 Z night in front of the courthouse, and I have also seen Dodge Viper night, Shelby Cobra night, and Vette night.
Do you think that is something you have to notify the show staff about or do the owners of the cars just meet there and line them up?

You have to make arrangements with the folks that organize the show. IIRC you need to do that before the season begins because clubs like to reserve those spots ahead of time. There may be cancellations, but each night the spot is filled with whomever reserved the space.
I don't know who to contact - I've stumbled on their website before, but can't recall who organizes it. Maybe the folks who run the music table can point you in the right direction.

I believe you need to contact Classic Cruisers....or it may be the township. My father is the president of the Nissan club that was there last week and I can find out if anyone actually wants to pursue it.
On a side note I'll possibly be there this friday with my T-Bird

That sounds like a good idea. Assuming other people are interested.
Should we post a generic post asking people of South, North, and Central NJ is they are interested in showing at Somerville? I mean just so we know a lot of people on here would be interested?
Otherwise, I'd feel bad if you went through the trouble of seeing whats involved.

I doubt anyone outside of Central will want to show up at Somerville. Few of us do as it is (and I only show up once a year if that).

I could understand what you mean, but don't a good amount of the people in the car clubs that park in front of the Courthouse come from South and North Jersey? I mean granted they are car clubs and we are all just a bunch of car enthusiasts on a forum, but you guys still don't think there would be North and South NJ people on this forum willing to come to Somerville for at least 1 Friday out of the whole summer? If you really don't, thats fine.
Or better yet, is there an F-body chapter somewhere in Central NJ that anyone knows of?
