I could fart into a microphone and have it sound better.

Face it, they're washed up has-beens.

I'm very curious to hear how the production on this one sounds.

I never listened to all of Stank Anger. Couldn't take any of it. The trash can sounding snare drum Lars had was just horrid.

Yep, album def rocks... doublekicks, syncho'ed solos, simply amazing... other than the voice of hetfield, definately sounds like it belongs in between MoP and AJFA with a little RTL mixed in. Trujillo is a ****in beast

Here is a link to AC/DC's new song.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YTYiuIHF3I

I think it sounds pretty good. Not very strong sounding, but catchy. I am sure I'll like it the more tiems I hear it on the radio. I am just glad they are back with a new CD and material.

Sorry to hear the bad news for Metallica fans who were disappointed with the new release.

We all missed the ball - NJ presale started!

They appear to be going 'in the round'

Code for Radio Preferred Seating Presale is MAGNETIC. Tix w/that code are sold out for Sat 1/31, but still out there for 2/1. Sunday, boo. Best I found (for 4) was Section 4, Row 4 (Lower Level Seating). So that sucks.

Now I am working on getting a fan club code

Also...American Express® Presale
Offer valid: September 8, 10 AM through September 9, 10 PM (local)

American Express® Cardmembers have access to advance tickets to Metallica from September 8 through September 9
Each cardmember that purchases tickets during this exclusive presale window also receives (included in the price of the tickets):
- A copy of the new Metallica Album Death Magnetic
- A LiveMetallica.com Download of the show you purchased tickets for (available within days after the event date)

Not sure if the AMEX presale is good for NJ yet. I may gun for that.

Also:
Internet Onsale Info
Onsale to General Public:
Sat, 09/13/08 10:00 AM EDT

I do not see sale dates yet for Philly (1/17)

I was going to get tickets yesterday through the K-Rock pre-sale but I want floor so I'm going to take my chances when the general on sale starts or with ebay. I've seen them front row 3 times and everything else pales in comparison now.
