trans problems
i have a 95 z28 camaro with a t56 trans, so i was driving back from work taking it easy on it when i shifted into forth and rolled to a stop light it was stuck in 4th gear and wouldnt come out without real force to it and now everytime i drive it third doesnt go in it jus pops out and 4th grinds real bad. any1 have any ideas what it could be??

Sounds like either the shift fork wear pads are worn out or the fork is bent.

Is that an easy fix. Im not to familiar with t56s.

and its a stock corvette motor outta a 93 vette with brand new bearings and gaskets, full exhaust, and nitrous

basiclly the trans is probably going to need a rebuild. Wouldnt make sense to remove the trans and dissasemble it to just replace 1 or 2 parts...

Basic rebuild starts at around $750 and it goes from there depending on upgrades you may choose to do and the amount of damage to hard parts..

I have a rebuilt trans and custom clutch from Josh. Top notch stuff, fair price, and the work got done quickly.
