thanks guys. between the two wheels i did, one can primer and one can paint. i sanded them down, cleaned the inside as best i could, and primed them with sandable primer. let them dry, then painted light coats till i liked the color and coverage. its tough getting inside the spokes but i managed. might go over the paint twice more lightly to ensure even coverage. i did the insides of the wheels too so it took alot of spray to cover them. all in all for winter beaters, i like em

looks good, i always thought about doing black wheels on my SS, never did it though.

i did my denali wheels with rustoleum spray paint. no primer, just a few light coats with like 10 min between drying time. i cleaned them great, sanded and used prep-sol right before spraying them. so far they look great still, and i did them last december. several 400mile highway trips and the salt up here in the artic winter didnt phase them.

Just my .02, but as much as I like black rims, on your green car they kinda fade into them, and dont stand out as they might on a different color car.
I think a rim with a polished lip might look better.

if you looked at it in person, it might pull together better for you. with the tint, sail panel, and ttops being black, it goes pretty good. also all of the lenses are vhted so that helps pull it together. i dono i'm more into that **** you look than look at me look honestly. its just more me. haha. oh and i think i will be holding onto the z06's for now. if it changes, maybe trade for that gmmg? hahaha i'll let you know brendan. they are significantly lighter though....
