i use dexcool in both my 2002 camaro and 1992 blazer and i have had no problems

if maintained properly and if you use distilled water, it works great

Same here along with I also stick with the GM gaskets and water pumps.

That whole problem started with I forget what year Blazer but anyways the coolant recovery tanks on them was allowing air to get in to the coolant system some how causing oxidation and crap..

HA...no problems with both my Fords....

Also run regular cheap coolant mix in the Camaro

50/50 distilled h20/antifreeze for me and a zinc diode in my radiator to keep out the metal eating gremlins. my baby sits at a nice cool 175-185 in traffic, 200 after a high 10 pass, by the time to re line up its back to 180
