I wonder how well they will do without Jagr. He was a decent driving force on the team last year. As long as they have Lundqvist, Drury, and Malone, they should do alright. Gomez was decent last season.
My Penguins are already off to a bad start with losing Gonchar to a shoulder injury for the whole season, Sykor to a groin injury for the next two games, and losing Ruutu to the Senators. It's bad enough that they lost Hossa and Conklin to Detroit, who happens to be my other favorite team, but hopefully the new blood from Scranton will pick up the momentum. It seems like this team always has the odds against them.
On a lighter note, Detroit is doing decently so far. I am glad they beat the Leafs. I really hope they break the record for winning the most cups. I still can't believe the Canadiens beat them in the preseason. Either Detroit was off those days or they are going to be a good team this season.

That's a shame cause I was really looking for a good game on the 14th in pit vs the Flyers. Ill be the drunk idiot on the glass in the corner, great seats. You still have the Crosby and Malkin though...
