11s....yea
Well it was only a matter of time with the air getting colder. First pass 12.04@112.40 1.67 sixty ft., next pass must have had water dragged up to the line flashed the converter and up in smoke which never happens but.....came right back around since I was pissed and they let me go again I was in the slick tire lane (not alot of cars) and got behind a nice big fat slick car and got in the sweet groove and flashed the converter again and 11.95@112.94 1.65 sixty, niceeeee! Ran again and 12.01....close! Ran one more time and hooked great but something felt a little funny in the front end so I got out of it. I have to check it out today not sure if a lug nut came loose or something wrong with the skinnies. Never ever had any issues as my car always tracks straight. Some one said maybe I got some air and had the wheel turned a little and that could have been what I felt but I don't think getting a whole 1" of air would feel like that would it? I don't have any expierence with that stuff like the fast guys ha ha. Anyway it did feel great and I'm sure I'll do it again in even colder "magic" air in november.

Thanx for the heads up, I know I must have been a little crooked on that pass, gotta be a little more carefull. Sometimes ya get a little to relaxed since I almost always hook but since its making so much power now (ha ha) I have to be in the groove with the big boys now!

congrats man thats awesome!! did anyone get it on video? i ask because maybe you could see if the front tire was shimmying. i had the issue of the front left tire shaking after it hit the ground. on video it looked like the tire was getting ready to fall off lol. i had to install one of these steering stabilizers problem solved

greg, that funny feeling couldve been the wheel wanting to lift off the track perhaps? im 98% sure mine managed a lil air under the front driver side and the front end nosed over to the right side a lil bit. what a neat feeling it is

Thanx Ron I was thinking that was a possibility but never felt the car do that so it caught me off guard and scared the crap outa me since the car always goes straight. Damn I thought one of the skinnies went flat. I'll have to be prepared for that next time when I get that 1.5 inch of air....ha ha!

Seats are like ~20 lbs. I passed thru the scales last week @ 3607 with me and half a tank... No spare... heavy 17x9/17x11 chrome XR1's
Also, what kind of tires?

Hmmm I thought I read somewhere that the front was like 33 and the rear seats were 37 but it doesn't matter I never planned on going through the hassle of taking everything out and going crazy with weight reduction but I'm sure I,ll try it just to see how fast the car can go. I know alot of people are into the weight reduction thing since it is free horespower 100lbs is a tenth. Oh and I'm running MT ET drag radials they work great on my set-up!

my back seats where unbolted and thrown in the car when i bought it. Ill weigh them if you want but there not alot thats why i ever took them out. Plus weight in the rear helps with traction with the transfer of energy. hence why FWD doenst work for racing
