New car :-D

Sooo i sold the Amigo and picked up another hooptie today. Its an 1989 Isuzu I-Mark. This car is awesome!! It has a 1.6L Lotus DOHC. It's pretty quick for what it is. Its suspension is also by Lotus. I took it to the scale tonight at a truck stop by me. 2160 lbs! The thing handles great. I got over 125 miles on a quarter tank. only took 17 to fill up too Sick mph ftmfw!! Maybe all the money i save on gas now i can put towards saving for a WS6! or for a house...

If its anything like the I-Mark they had, you'd better check the oil at every fill up. They burn it bad....

I had a 91 Impulse and it was fun for what it is....handling was good on stock 185/60/14's

Anyhows, mine would burn up oil on the higher rpm long trips (anything over 80mph for a tank of fuel)....I drove 1100 miles....14 hrs.....and was close to 3 qts low....and I had just changed the oil the day prior to the trip.

Enjoy it....finding parts today might be an issue....good luck

You really got a thing for Isuzu's don't ya.

Cool little ride, even if it was like #20 on the list of worst cars ever built. lol

ya its obviously not the sexiest car. but anyone that needs a car to get chicks has noooo game! but anyway, it gets 40mpg handles like a go kart and is pretty quick for what it is. cant beat the price of free either. Dont understand why it would have gotten such bad reviews. Handles great, quick, sick on gas, reliable. I dont know about that whole oil problem. i know a someone that had an impulse and someone else who had a turbo IMark. never had problems with oil. My friend who had this before me beat the hell out of the car and never had any oil issues, or any issues for that matter. i never thought i would own an Isuzu. Definatly didnt think id own two lol. back to back for that matter. it really is gonna suck trying to find certain parts for it though. o well. time to save for a WS6!!
