my lt1 rebuild.

well im bored so ill post the pics from the lt1 i just got during the rebuild tear down and reabuild process. i think im going to leave the bottom end alone unless i see something i dont like.

so far everything looks pretty good for it only having 80k on it











i didnt want an oil cooler so i did away with the cooler lines

am i retarded or do iron heads have spark plugs go in straight while aluminum heads go in on an angle? remember, i could be retarded.

well i got a few parts to my missing link. just traded my flaking chrome ss wheels for a set of aluminum heads, complete wiring harness, water pump and balancer

the aluminum heads are bare can i use the valves out of the cast ones? just making a backup budge motor, if not than ill just buy some good ones

yes it has cast iron heads right now, im swapping to aluminums that im going to have decked and ported
