Windows question

Is there any way to disable all bubbles from the notification tray in XP? I HATE them. I came home tonight after being out for 2 hours and my monitor was on because the system was telling me I was low on virtual memory *&%^$#@
I just want a yes or no. I am too lazy to right now and have to sift through all kinds of crap
