I'm suprised anyone cares, this is one of the least sought after engines paired with a car that likely will need new paint, new wheels & tires & new items under the hood due to "rodents" taking residence. The car has also not been started so its running condition is unknown as well. Yes the interior is mint and the mileage is nuts but I can't see this being a highly sought after vehicle.

Car collectors love the low mile stuff. This is not a car for a regular person.

This probably going to end up in someones collection. How many "new" 20+ y/o cars are there. You got to think back to 1985, that Camaro was hot stuff for it's day.

I had an 87' TA with an LG4, it was definitely not a hot engine by any means
Now if it were an 89 TA convertible 350 with 4 miles on it thats a different story, this just happens to be a who cares car in my book I suppose, everyones different in their tastes

I wouldnt touch the ignition until the valve seals, headgaskets, intake seals and oil pan seals are replaced.

As long as the paint is ok it would be a cool car for a collection with only 4.3
miles on it. Too bad the wheels are long gone. And it looks a little rough under the hood. I bet the reserve is set over $20K.

Cool find but why the hell would anyone want to buy it brand new in 85 and store it away immediately for all these years. The owner should just keep it, throw in a fresh 350 as well as a little sprucing up under the hood, IROC wheels, and have a mint car.

Wow, a new IROC from my hometown Chevy dealer in Bergen County. Too bad it was stored so badly, imagine 24 years of frigide winters and hot summers stuck inside a sealed trailer in NJ, not to mention the mice that took residence inside it all those years. I agree its a nice collectable, but will need much $ too bring it back to its glory days.

My bad I confused the LG4 with the L69 . I should known better than to argue 3rd Gens, I'll stick to LM1'S and LS1's.

You are buying a story with a car to go with it. Not the other way around.

too true. most of us buy cars and then the stories develop. this is instant story.
whatever happens to the car from here on out will ultimately dictate whether it STAYS a collectible.

yeah i agree, i hope the buyer just cleans it up, doesnt touch the plastics or engine and just puts it in a history museum right next to the 82 pace car with 35 miles on it.
