just had a question

i was just wondering if someone were to make up a throttle body spacer for an lt1 would it have any effect on the car? I have never seen one and was just curious lol

better, buy a plate and spray the bag out of it! That would definately have an effect on the performance!!!

also. would'nt adding a spacer take away from bottom end. and add to top end? or is that just for carbs.

I'll guess, no added performance. Unlike a carb/intake set-up the LT1 intake has enough plenum volume and velocity with the short runners that the plate will not have any effect.

I had a 4.3L S-10 that I had an exhaust, stage II chip, cold air intake, and then I put a spacer in and had a negitive HP result. It depends on your set up. Sometimes it hurts sometimes it helps.

yeah i was just thinking if there was more room for air to come in would it increase power lol but yeah, it sounds like nothing would happen.
