Porsche 944 is the only car that I've seen the swap being done in.

you sure it wasnt just a 924, 928, 944 or a 968 with an exhaust? because they are V8s factory.

the 924S, 968 and 944 are all the same chassis and the swap can be done with the same parts. The 928 is a factory v8. Could have been one with an exhaust, although they sound more like a bmw/lexus v8. I would like to put an ls1 in mine, thats for sure!
Was it this body style? I will admit the 924 does look like an rx7, esp from the back quarter(although it came out first)

it did look like that isphius. when i heard it coming, i thought it was going to be a sweet c5. then it wasn't. i could be mistaking though but it sounded like a vette with an exhaust and looked like an older porsche. i dono just what i saw/heard.

you, sir, are correct....my bad! they all are mostly the same body style though....so it couldve been one of those anyway with an LS1 swap.
and that would make me double-half-right-wrong
