What year car was this off of? 98-99 and 00-02 had a different cam(thing that the throttle cable goes around). When I made a trade for one I had a problem on my 99 because the throttle cable wasn't the right size and I needed to use the cam/butterfly shaft assembly from my stock Tb in the ported one.

nope 98-99. I had a problem with my 99 when I went to swap in a TB from an 00.

Sorry guys, haven't been on in a few days. Honestly I can not say exactly what yr this is from, it came with the Z a friend bought....but I wouldhave to say it is a 99. The motor is a 99 and the PO changed the intake and TB to the fast 90.

Well the TB will work for any year, you just have to remove the butterfly shaft and replace it with the one from the stock TB of that year whether it be the 98-99 or 00-02 one. So to anyone interested in this: It will work with all year f-body's, just might have to change the butterfly shaft. Anyway goodluck with your sale.
