The mulletbird ... lives!?!

Yes, that's right, ladies and gents. I fixed my wiring woes, and as soon as I connected up the + and - the lights all came on, front lights whirred down to the bottom, and then when I got in, all lights and gauges lit, starter cranked, and with a little throttle working, she came back to life! She is still smoking a little bit from all the water condensation from 5+ months of lifelessness, but all things considered, she ran pretty good.

I'll hopefully use her for transporting more goods to the swap meet, and after that we'll see where we go. The passenger door still will not close (gonna need some minor work to fix that up) and then there's the matter of the leaky gaskets, plus she needs an oil change BAD. Very minor compared to a full rewire I just did.

Why waste gas making trips to and from the swap meet?

Because, I don't have a tent, although I just got word from a friend of mine who will be there that maybe I can borrow one of his. If that's the case, I'll be staying there the whole time. But, I still don't have enough space for both truck & trailer in there, so the thought was I could drop off everything from the truck and trailer (use the car on the trailer to help transport more parts), pull it out into one of their parking lots, unload the car, and drive that in there (so I don't have to walk ... that's right, I'm a lazy SOB). Plus, I do need to run the car some, clean her out and what have you. Those old carbs don't like it when you let them sit for more than 6 months.
