Made A Demotivator Today!
Well, after my recent experience with almost losing a front wheel at 60mph on Rt 4, I figured I could get a laugh out of it now.
Whatcha think?

Not sure exactly - I have a feeling either a kid at work was messing with my car, or someone tried stealing a rim and then noticed the locking lug after they loosened the others. Either way, I didn't catch it until I felt the vibrations, heard some evil bearing squeal, then those two lugs and studs let go when I got off the highway - the front end got real squirmy. I had it flat-bedded the rest of the way home and just got around to fixing it yesterday.

Thanx Bill! Yeah, it coulda sucked - the other three lugs were barely threaded on too. I bet if I had only gone another mile or so that wheel would have been rolling past me on the highway.

The De-Mo, should say
Wheel Studs : 3 out of 5 aint bad.
Wheel Studs : Where 60% just dosent cut it.
What made then snap, you hit a pot hole, or what?

How about:
3 wheels: Good for tricycles, bad for cars

this happened to my on my durango last week....one sid ei went to take off the wheel, put no pressure on it and one snapped off, as i hammered that one out, 2 others just snapped. then on my way home 2 nights after i heard a clunking and it got realll bad so i pulled over and figured id check the lugs on all wheels, 3 wheels r tight, the other front wheel i go to tighten and 3 more lugs break right off. it was 1 in the morning and i was 2 miles from home..i did 10mph home and it took half hour lol.
