A "Baffling" Install Question...

Well, a while back I scored a pair of Jegs tall plain valve covers. They're aluminum, and the baffles are made from stamped steel, and not installed. So, I bought the Permatex high-strength thread-locker Red - it's good to 300*+ and meant for rocker-arm studs and such, so I'm thinking it should be OK. Also, the valve cover is NOT tapped, and the baffles come with self-tapping sheet-metal screws with lockwashers, so I figure if the screw is going in while cutting its own threads, with the Red threadlocker and lockwashers in place, the baffles shouldn't go anywhere. Will this be OK?

I just don't want it loosening up and smacking into the rockers - that would kinda suck .

TIA for your opinions!
