It doesn't make sense even if you think they want to win it at home, but something looked strange about the way they were playing last night. They just stood there and watched strike 3 way too many times. Until the inning they decided to start swinging the bat and scored 6 runs. Then the bullpen implodes to give up the lead again. It was weird. Some of the Yankees fans sitting next to me at the Firkin thought they were throwing the game. The whole time it was 4-0 it did look like it, but after they rallied to take the lead I don't think they threw the game.

Lackey had his breaking ball dancing. I still can't believe soscia took him out in that spot. He is lucky they won that game.

I really can't believe Dr Hook Joe Girardi let AJ start the 7th. Another pitching mgmt fail. How can you have any faith in that guy? Then again JG loves using Marte too..

Now they are talking letting CC start game 6 if it gets pushed to sunday due to rain. Also dumb. Let Andy pitch and if need be a full rest CC isready for game 7 or to start game 1.

Yeah, starting CC again is crazy. We saw what happened last year when the Brewers pitched him on too short of rest.

Nah, I don't think they threw the game. I think it was just an off night for them considering how they have been hitting lately. You have to factor in too they they pitched around A-Rod most of the game.

Agreed. I dont see why Andy doesnt get the go for Game 6?
But with CC pitching tomorrow, he still has rest if they make it to the WS.
