well guys,
upon further inspection............... due to the pushrod slappin around from the broken rocker , it caught the edge of the lifter and popped the lifter open.

so, i have a lifter spring, plunger & clip layin in the engine too !!!

What rockers are you guys runnin? Want to order new ones this week and debating between the comp & jesels.

any other brands you guys hadgood luck with?

damn !!! i sure wish this black cloud would find its way away from me, maybe hover over a turd gen guy or lt1 guy for a while . hahaha

I went with the harland sharp roller rocker rebuild service. Its under 300 shipped they work and they are light. Just a nice alternative and there is usually a week turnaround. I had it done through nasty performance.

From what Ive researched, Yella Terra Ultralights are the most popular for reliability and weight.

just to elaborate on jesel products... guys who built my motor broke a jesel this last racing season... the rockers in the engine were so old they dont even make or have any of that style anymore... so they had to custom make one.... they were from like the early 80's.... they are quality products... just expensive as crap... if you go comp get the ultra pro mags they are much more trick than the standard promag and look alot stronger too...

right off their site...... the last line is pretty comforting.......The new Ultra Pro Magnum™ Rocker Arms not only live up to the lofty standards of the original Pro Magnum™, but they also take stud mount rocker performance, stability and value to a whole new level. The modern arched, web-like design delivers increased strength and rigidity while still reducing the moment of inertia and optimizing the dynamic balance. As a testament to the strength of this design, COMP Cams® includes a lifetime guarantee against the breakage of the rocker arm body for any reason

btw these are what im running but i havent fired my motor yet so cant speak form person experience yet haha..
