Forza 3 Question

I just opened the box and it contains a "content install disc" what is that for? Can I just play the game or do I have to do something first. I know I could read into it and not be lazy but Im not a hardcore gamer, I just want to have some fun! Will I be limited to vehicles or something like that?

when you put in the game, it asks you if you want to install all the content
if you say yes, it tells you to put the content disk in
if you say no, your limited in cars and tracks

I just found that out! I started off on the easiest setting, rocking an Orange FIT!!
