February Car of the Month Submissions
Anyone can post one picture of only their Camaro or Firebird in this thread.
Please include your name and a short paragraph (at least a few sentences) describing the mods done to the car and/or a short story about the car as well.
If this is not posted in this thread by the time voting begins, your car will not be included in the vote.
At the last week of the month we will post a poll that will last for one week and the winner will get to spend the following month showcased on the home page of the site. Past winners will not be eligible to win again for 12 months.
All submitted pictures should be a minimum size of 640 x 480, as this is the size of the image that will be posted on the home page. If you aren't sure of the size, post it up the largest image you have (within reason).
If you have submitted a car in the past, but were not selected as a winner, feel free to submit another pic. You can continue to enter each month until you win.
Please limit this thread to posts submitting pictures only. Comments and other chit-chat will be removed.

My car is a 1994 Pontiac Trans Am GT 6 speed hardtop. I got the car when I was 17 in 2008, by trading a 01 Saturn 3 door 5speed that I bought as a gas saver. I got the car as a roller, but I was given everything I needed to get it running(ported heads/intake, 52mm TB,pacesetter LTs, custom grind cam,30lb injectors,CAI, 3in exhaust,1.6rr's,comp cam lifters, msd opti and coil) and using it as my DD. I sent out the bottom end to be rebuilt, then I put on the heads and everything else and dropped in the motor. Shortly after putting a few miles on it a lifter failed and destroyed my bearings. So, I rebuilt it again in spring/summer of 2009, this time going with stronger internals. Now I use it as my weekend toy.

This is my 99 Camaro. I bought it bone stock 2 years ago as my first car. Since then it became a head/cam LS1. The motor has LS6 heads and a 232/234 cam. My first pass down the track with this setup ran a 11.98@120mph. The car also has a Moser 9in rear with 3.5in driveshaft and a Monster Stage 3 clutch.

2001 Camaro SS. I purchased this car at the end of November 09. I bid on the car on e-bay and obviously won the auction. The car was located in the burbs of D.C. and to say the deal was shady is an understatement. The car has a 6.0 LQ9 swap with 241 heads, LS6 intake, LS2 double roller, LSX ported high flow oil pump, BIG cam, QTP stainless headers, QTP 4in ORY, LS6 flywheel, LS6 clutch, Chromoly driveshaft, Moser 12 bolt, 4.11's. I shattered the pinion in the 10 bolt within a monthe of owning the car. The car has 126xxx mi but looks like it has 50k this thing is clean, and its a true slp car to boot. Ive wanted a pewter SS for a long time and now Im proud to own one of my dream cars it will never be for sale!

This is my 1997 Camaro Z28, bought it last October and has been my daily driver. Nothing too crazy going on under the hood yet. Has a few small things like a Magnaflow catback w/ cutout and a cai. Will be seeing a set of headers come spring time.

This 1995 3.4L teal Firebird would happen to be my first car. I got the car almost 2 years ago. I started out with a V6 to get used to driving. Sofar all i did was change the tires and rims along with a fresh air intake and a aftermarket tuner-chip. My friend DaSkinnyGuy got me into F-bodys and taking pictures of these cars. I love this car but i believe it's time to make a change. In the next few months i plan to sell her and buy another F-body with a V8.

Matt Cestra-1989 Pontiac Trans Am
With the exception of a CAI and a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust, it is stock with 85k miles on it. Its just a daily driver for now but will be hard to recognize by this time next year!
