More proof that e-bay is full of idiots....

See this auction for a drive shaft. The seller answers a question and posts the answer in the auction (bold by me):

Q: is it steel driveshaft or factory aluminum?
A: metal

Idiot does not realize that steel and aluminum are BOTH metals. Nice answer that is of no help at all.

Yep, thats what you find on e-bay.

LOL! No, just trying to find a one piece for someone who has a bad two piece setup.

Hey Thunder, the 98 and up V6 came with a one piece. 97 was the last year for the two piece fiasco.

Not really sure. Read where it had to do with the angle that the trans sat at in the 6, to the center bearing mount dampens some odd vibration in the 6. But the fact is GM saved money by doing 1 piece in all models. So whatever issue it was meant to address, it apparently wasn't bad enough to continue to spend money on the two piece setup.

Yup. Par for the course.

Every now and then somebody posts up their "steel" cylinder heads...

Yes, there are idiots on eBay. I have received some very dumb questions when selling. However, in the past 3 months I've made over $1,300 on eBay so if you can put up with the idiots it's one of the best ways to make a fast buck.
