Yeah, good info but kind of old these days. You can tell by the lack of the sure-grip on the Fram, and the lack of K&N data, which is a popular filter.

Used a Fram Tough guard last time. So far so good.

Fram BLOWS!!! Take one appart and compare it to a napa gold or WIX....even a motorcraft....you wolnt want to use one again!

ill say it a million times...frams are garbage. i directly attribute the blowing of my motor to my fram filter in the mitsubishi. never again

from what iv been told they have since fixed their problems with them collapsing, but i still wouldnt risk it... i mean there is enough companies out there to buy filters from to not use theirs.... i used to use the crapp purolator ones all the time and never had problems...

could you expand on this and show evidence of given statement? especially the second part, really curious as to how an oil filter quiets a drivetrain.
